With custom fields, a functionality included in hintcatcher PREMIUM, a hintcatcher reporting office can be even more individually tailored to the specific requirements of your company.
Custom fields can be used to capture additional information at the hintcatcher reporting office, allowing you to explicitly request specific information from whistleblowers in addition to the description of the hint. Custom fields can be configured as either optional or mandatory fields.
Analyzing the values of custom fields with the integrated analysis tools in the whistleblower software hintcatcher
If you have configured custom fields for your hintcatcher reporting office, you can now also evaluate the values of these fields in the integrated analysis tools of the hintcatcher system. To do this, simply navigate to the analysis area of the hintcatcher system, select the desired reporting period, and retrieve the report.
In addition to standard evaluations such as cases received over time or the evaluation of confirmed vs. rejected cases, additional analyses for the values of custom fields are now displayed.
For example, using a custom field “Affected Department”, you can easily analyze which departments are most frequently reported for grievances:
Analyzing your reports can help you better understand which areas of your organization have potential for improvement and where you are already well-positioned.
Note: Data on custom fields can only be analyzed as long as the cases have not been permanently deleted from the hintcatcher system and the caseworker has unrestricted access to these cases at the time of analysis.
